Chanticleer Review
Tim Hunniecutt’s Some Love Lasts tells a beautiful story of devotion with a unique, endearing perspective on young love through Madi and Matthew… From strong women emerges strong love that seemingly lasts forever… Five-Star Review – highly recommend.
Prairies Book Review
A subtle, deeply penetrating meditation on first love, memory, and the moments that shape who we become…Measured, emotionally intelligent, and unafraid of stillness, the novel honors the intensity of young love without romanticizing it — and acknowledges that some connections endure not because they are perfect, but because they mattered deeply.

Some Love Lasts offers a rich blend of emotional depth, resilience and hope that readers will appreciate. Whether through Madi’s and Matthew’s journeys or the powerful triumphs of the other characters, the book delivers a story that is heartfelt and inspiring.
Country Mamas with Kids Review
I love a great coming of age story and this was a great one for YA people! It has a great message that sometimes love is not so cut and dry and it can take time to get where you need to be to meet someone or find someone in this life.
CM rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The Page Ladies Review
The Vibe: Sun-drenched romance meets a hurricane?! 🌪️
The Twist: It’s not just a summer fling. We get to see them reconnect years later in college! Watching Madi grow from a girl swept away to a woman writing her own story was so empowering.
Chit Chat with Charity Review
It is a sweet romance that captures the teen element but evolves to reflect on the sunset of that coming-of-age romance. It is powerful and reflective that could resonate with you.
Read Love Blog Review
I read a good amount of YA romances and they tend to be more on the light and sweet side and usually not a whole lot of depth to the story itself. And that isn’t a bad thing (I enjoy those stories) but Tim’s YA romance definitely hit on a more mature YA and I absolutely loved.
Five Minutes Forme Review
Some love lasts is an emotional story of true love and its challenges. I really enjoyed both of these young adult books! Definitely worth a read.
